Artemisinin, a key antimalarial drug, is derived from this plant. This is the plant that started the whole idea of the garden.
Description
Woody stemmed perennial with fine, fern-like, silver-grey, aromatic leaves and tiny, yellow-tinged silver flowers in Summer.
Care and Maintenance
Leaves will die back in winter, and the previous years growth should be cut back by about 2/3rd in early spring. There will be vigorous new growth every year.
