If you’re going to do a Wee Green Wander, you probably want to do it in Scotland’s greenest city. In that case, you’re in luck! Working with a range of partners across the city, we’ve created a trail of science-themed gardens across the city. Some are long-standing, while we’ve been a part of creating others.

Whether you like huge botanical gardens or something small and cute, there’s bound to be something to keep you happy on our Wee Green Wander. We’ve been thrilled to work with:

• Dundee Museum of Transport
• Dundee Science Centre
• HMS Unicorn
• Dundee’s Green Health Partnership
• The Ninewells Community Garden
• Dundee University Botanic Garden and their Wee Forests
• And of course we’re including our very own WeeCAIR Medicinal Garden.

It’s not a moment too soon either. There’s increasing evidence that access to green space and nature is a vitally important part of health and wellbeing. As such, we’re very excited to be a part of the Green Prescribing story across Dundee, along with our partner organisations. We’ll be releasing the map both online and in-person for Doors Open Day very soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
