SPPIRIT one-day Research Symposium
The Scottish Parasitology Partnership in Research, Innovation and Training network (SPPIRIT) is hosting its first research symposium at Moredun Research Institute on Monday 26th September.
This FREE one-day research symposium is dedicated to Early Career Researchers. Attendees are invited to submit poster abstracts to present a research poster.
Plans for the day (subject to change):
- Poster and networking sessions make up the majority of the day
- This symposium is being designed to get everyone interacting about their research interests and will hopefully establish new contacts and collaborations between attendees
- Selected talks from PhDs and Postdocs
- Lunch will be provided
- Talks from invited speakers to bookend the day’s events.
- End-of-day networking session with refreshments
- Free transport will be available for researchers based outside of Edinburgh.

Moredun Research Institute (EH26 0PZ) is located at Pentland Science Park, within the Midlothian Science Zone. This is located close to The Roslin Institute and Royal (Dick) Vet School (University of Edinburgh), just outside Edinburgh. There is a map contained within the registration link.
