WCAIR at the Dundee Print Collective

We’ll be joining our friends from the Dundee Print Collective at their exciting exhibition preview! It’s on Friday, 14 December from 6pm. From DPC:

Dundee Print Collective and Yes We Printers collaborated in the summer of 2018 on a joint project that explored the concept of personal journeys and the individual’s European encounter. Artists based in Scotland and Barcelona created images of visual memories or experiences based on the project’s theme, through the medium of printmaking.

One collaborative work was created, a collective visual collage that utilises elements and layers from every artist. This work was printed simultaneously in Dundee and Barcelona, images swapped between locations, with artists randomly choosing layers which were then printed upon previously initiated images, creating new narratives.

Exhibiting along with this collaborative work will be over fifty individual limited editions, created by artists from both locations. Every edition was produced within DPC’s method of applied design parameters of a maximum of two colours and one black layer.

All individual limited editions will be on sale for £25.
