The 4th ‘Infectious Diseases Research Initiative Scotland’ or IDRIS Meeting is combined with the Wellcome Centre for Anti-Infectives Research Spring Symposium. We hope to bring together infectious disease researchers across Scotland to facilitate networking, share research technologies and discoveries, and encourage new collaborative research programmes.

This two day meeting will feature talks from the University of Dundee (including WCAIR), the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Parasitology at the University of Glasgow, and the University of Edinburgh Infectious Disease Network. Posters presentations are encouraged from all participants.

Registration for the meeting is free and includes lunch on both days, drinks reception, and dinner (generously funded by the School of Life Sciences (Wellcome ISSF) and WCAIR).

Students and postdocs may also register to attend the satellite meeting on the afternoon of March 7th. This meeting will provide opportunities to discuss topics of interest to early career researchers including mentoring, funding, and careers in research. Registration is free and includes lunch and a drink reception (generously funded by SULSA).
