Campfire’s (virtually) burning!

On International Women’s Day we’re excited to announce that our collaboration with Girlguiding Dundee is taking another exciting step – into the world of a science-themed virtual sleepover!

If you’ve never been to a virtual sleepover before don’t worry – neither have we. We’re really looking forward to it, though! The sleepover will run on March 27 and 28. There’ll be a mix of experiments, games, crafts, songs, and even a live panel discussion with some of our world-leading women scientists. We hope that everyone will get a chance to ask lots of great questions. We’re also sure that there’ll be masses of creativity on display from everyone!

The event is free to join in, and you can do it on Facebook or we can arrange to email content out to you. Our favourite little pill person, Medi, is also making a triumphant return as the weekend’s mascot. We’ll have a competition to design the celebratory badge for the sleepover, so get your thinking caps on.

We’ve got an Eventbrite page set up where you can sign up for yourself and your unit. If you have any friends or family involved in Girlguiding it would be fantastic if you could share! Of course, our Medicine Maker badge pack is online too, and lots of the things we’ll be doing over the weekend will help you to complete it.
